STRICTLY COME DRESSAGE - FUN SOCIAL EVENING WITH BBQ

This should be such a laugh. A great opportunity to work out where all the legs should be! A fun unmounted evening where we look at some of the more complex dressage movements on foot. Which leg should follow and which should lead? Should the movement be performed on 2,3 or 4 tracks?  Can you “ride” the Grand Prix movements of a test? Following a demonstration, we will be working in pairs to perfect the moves yourselves. Can you “ride” the Grand Prix movements of a test? You will be amazed at how much better you realise where you need to be in the arena when you do it yourself - Judging will take paces and partner combination into consideration. White socks optional! Following a BBQ supper we will run a Freestyle to music competition (scaled down arena - don’t worry we won’t make you do extended canter in a 60m arena!) - optional competition dress, plaiting personal choice!!!! Bring your choice of music with you! Prizes for best turned out, best choreography, technical performance and most entertaining!

If you don’t fancy participating just come and enjoy the spectacle and a lovely BBQ supper.

This is a subsidised social event for NRC members £5 per head. Friends and family £10 per head. 

There will be a bring and share BBQ supper. Please bring your own meat and a salad or pudding to share plus a bottle and a chair. We will supply the BBQ’s, cutlery, crockery and glasses.

REFUNDS : Cancellations  will only be refunded at the discretion of NRC Committee or if your place can be filled from the waiting list or if you can find somebody to take your space. A full refund will be given if the event is cancelled by NRC or you provide a vet or medical letter.
