MEMBERS’ ONLY DRESSAGE COMPETITION – ROUND 2

Classes :

Class 1 - Intro B – Walk/Trot Test

Combination not to have ridden at Novice level or above

Class 2 – Preliminary 2

Class 3 - Preliminary 14

Class 4 - Novice 27

Class 5 - Novice 30

Class 6 – Elementary 42

Warm up will be in the indoor arena with tests ridden outdoors.

Entry Fee : £12 per class or £22 for two classes.

Closing Date : WEDNESDAY 11 AUGUST 2022. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED

Times : Available via the Naphill RC website from 6pm on Thursday 18 August 2022

Rules : The competition will be run under British Riding Club dressage rules with the exception of rider dress (smart but casual and no plaiting required for horses although we would ask they be clean and tidy!). Hats must conform to current BRC safety standards and correct riding boots worn. Tack worn must be in line with current BD/BRC rules. All tests are British Dressage and will be judged accordingly under BD rules.

Withdrawals/Refunds : Refunds will be given if withdrawn before entry closing date of 11 August 2022. After this date, credit may be offered at the discretion of the Committee.

Information :

- We will run the competition from 10.30am (first warm up) – 4pm (last test) so please let us know if you have a time requirement. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

- Rosettes will be awarded 1st - 6th place in each class.

- Member’s will be awarded points for placings in each class 1st – 6th (1st = 6 points, 2nd = 5 points, 3rd = 3 points, 4th = 4 points, 5th = 5 points). These will be added together over the course of the 3 competitions and prizes awarded to the riders with the most points. Bonus points will be awarded to riders who compete at a level higher than they did previously, ie, if your highest level of test ridden previously was Prelim and you ride a Novice test this time.

- We will do our best to organise an NRC helper to read for riders. However, we would ask you learn a test or provide your own caller if at all possible. Last time Megan read 20+ tests, 15 of which were requested on the day! If you need an NRC caller, please email naphillrcmembership@gmail.com as soon as your entry is made. Only requests made at the time of entry so we can try and arrange additional helpers. Thank you.
