Horse Agility UK

Sandra and Team will introduce you to Horse Agility before you start working through a selection of obstacles with support.

Horse Agility comprises of a variety of obstacles for the horse & handler to achieve together. Horse Agility tests your horse’s physical as well as his emotional fitness and tests your ability as a trainer to keep your horse travelling safely over the course effectively and with style. The obstacles will comprise of going under, over, through, around and carrying. Each session ends with a line up, as you would for a competition. This allows you to practice being still whilst receiving an award. Judges expectations are that horses should be still to receive their rosettes, sashes, flowers etc if not then they may loose their placing. You will all receive a colourful HA rosette after each session.

A few Rules. Well fitting Halters and long lead ropes are required for the in-hand sessions as well as hard hats, sturdy footwear and gloves. No whips, carrot sticks, bridles or chiffneys. You will not be able to participate if the above is not complied with. Long ropes can be borrowed from Sandra

REFUNDS : Cancellations  will only be refunded at the discretion of NRC Committee or if your place can be filled from the waiting list or if you can find somebody to take your space. A full refund will be given if the event is cancelled by NRC or you provide a vet or medical letter.
