About the Event
We are delighted to announce we have organised an initial session for horses and riders who would like to have a go at Drill Riding / Quadrille.
This first session will mainly be about working out which horses work best together and also getting an idea about how much we are all able to commit to the group trainings. Catarina Eriksson is kindly organising this training together with specialist drill riding instructor, Debbie
Drill riding can be done to music or without and at all levels. It is incredibly educating for both horse and rider having to be flexible, organised, thinking ahead and also be part of the group and all the dynamics within it… Laughter is a guaranteed ingredient, especially in the beginning and it all makes for a great team spirit!
For some there will hopefully be a natural spinoff on to the Quadrille team which involves 4 riders per team and is being ridden to music and in costumes.
The venue is the big indoor arena at Manor Farm Equestrian, Manor Farm, Kingsey, HP17 8LU and the first session will be on Wednesday 22nd June at 7-8pm. Costs will be divided by the numbers who attend (up to 10 riders) and advised when final details are confirmed (max will be £30 / rider if 4 attending).
Ample parking, please keep things tidy and no dogs allowed on site.
