Track Endurance Training with Maggie Pattinson

Date: 20thApril 2024

Location: Tring Gallops, Aldbury, Tring HP23 5RS

Number of spaces: 12 spaces

Price: £20 pp for 1hr (subsidised from £40 per hour)

Do you know how fit your horse is and how important this is for every discipline of riding, well this is your chance to have a fun time on the gallops, either as individuals or pairs, and to assess how fit your horse is using heart monitors, and to be taught how to reduce your horses heart rate after strenuous exercise

 Maggie has a lifetime’s experience across equestrian disciplines from  dressage to racing and became involved in endurance riding about 20 years  ago.  Maggie has ridden, crewed and trained at international level and with  her passion for fitness and individuality Maggie is the ideal person to help  you whether you’re a newcomer, a happy hacker, top competitor with a  “confidence issue” or a competitor who would like focus and/or an old hand  to discuss any thoughts or issues you may have.  You will ride in pairs.

Terms & Conditions

· 1 session per Area 6 riding club member unless availability permits, on a first come first serve basis.

· If you attended the track training earlier this year, you are not eligible to attend.

· Payment secures booking.

· REFUNDS : Cancellations  will only be refunded at the discretion of BRC Area 6 Committee or if your place can be filled from the waiting list or if you can find somebody to take your space. A full refund will be given if the event is cancelled by BRC Area 6 or you provide a vet or medical letter.
